Frequently Asked Questions
My condition isn’t listed on your site. Can you still help me?
No guarantees, but we’ll certainly try our best. Set up a free consultation so we can learn more about your symptoms and decide whether or not we have the right tools to help. If you decide we’re not the right choice for you, there’s no obligation on your part.
Can Phoenix Lifestyle Management be my primary care physician?
Highly knowledgeable and experienced, we’re licensed to provide primary care for issues like those listed above. However, we recommend that you keep your primary care doctor so you can still get vaccinations, flu testing, and other services which we do not provide at Phoenix Lifestyle Management. For women, we recommend keeping your OBGYN for pap smears, mammograms, and other screenings. And in the case of an emergency, it’s always best to visit urgent care or the ER.
We’re not a replacement for your primary care physician or for the emergency room. You can think of us as an addition to your primary care, helping you achieve better health in those areas in which traditional medicine has failed to make a difference.
Do you provide virtual consultations?
Yes. If you live near our main office on Bowen Island, you’re welcome to come in-person. But we also offer virtual consultations and appointments, giving you access to our support and services from wherever you are.
What can I expect to find in my lifestyle plan?
Your lifestyle plan may include instructions and resources for nutritional modifications, food plans, dietary supplements, exercise recommendations, stress and anxiety management, breathing techniques, positive psychology exercises, and mindfulness.
What’s included in my package?
You can visit our packages page for more information on what each package does and does not include. Please note that some packages may not cover the costs of lab tests, though these are often covered partially or in full by your health insurance. Also, our packages do not cover medical and health services outside of Phoenix Lifestyle Management. For example, they do not cover the costs of appointments with your primary care physician, visits to the ER, fitness classes or gym memberships, and prescription or over-the-counter medications.
If I have a Phoenix Lifestyle Management membership, do I need health insurance as well?
Yes. While we do provide plenty of resources and support for your health needs, we do not recommend using Phoenix Lifestyle Management as a replacement for your health insurance. We’re always working to make our care more affordable for you, but we still recommend owning a separate health insurance plan to cover doctor’s bills and other medical costs. Phoenix Lifestyle Management is not a health insurance plan.
What if I change my mind about membership?
You’re welcome to join our community for free at any time, no strings attached. If you purchase one of our packages and decide later that you want to opt out, we’re happy to discuss your options. Simply give us a call and we’ll see what we can do. You always have the choice to cancel your membership, though we hope you’ll stick around and take advantage of all we have to offer. You can also try our no obligation free trial to decide whether or not Phoenix Lifestyle Management is right for you.
Do you provide care for children?
While we mainly serve adults, you’re welcome to talk to us about health challenges your children may be facing, especially if you feel it may be toxicity related.
