InBody 770 Body Composition Analyzer

The InBody 770 is a research grade body and water composition analyzer that provides invaluable information to help you improve your health today.

At PLM we want to encourage everyone to improve their health this year, and particularly, to know if they’re accomplishing that goal. Let the InBody 770 be your measuring stick. If you live on Bowen Island, we are offering one free body composition analysis to every person who is interested, regardless of whether they decide to become a client of PLM or not.

Measuring things like intracellular water vs extracellular water gives us important information we can use to determine the amount of water held inside the body’s cells. This data indicates your hydration levels, and alerts us to the presence of internal swelling and/or inflammation from excessive extracellular water.

Have you started a weight training program recently? Track your Skeletal Muscle Mass and see if all your hard work is paying off.

While you’re at it, see if you’re building muscle in a balanced way. The InBody 770’s Segmental Lean Analysis section shows your lean muscle broken down by right arm, left arm, trunk, right leg, and left leg.

Measure your visceral fat levels to find out if you’re at risk for things like heart disease, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions.

Measure your Basal Metabolic Rate to determine how many calories your body burns at rest.

Measure your Whole Body Phase Angle to determine your cell’s ability to hold a charge. This gives us a remarkable window into how the body responds to changes in health, either for better or for worse.  Your phase angle goes up when you’re healthy and goes down when you’re not.

Tip: Improving your body composition is one way to increase your phase angle.
